The Colony
As we identify the colony members, their bios will be posted here. Click on the photo to learn about each colony member. This will help us communicate not only the magnitude of the situation, but any progress we make with the individual cats.
Dr. Hook
Dr. Hook is timid and has a hooked tail.
Pixie is currently nursing 3 kittens and has been given a place to keep her babies warm and safe.
Pixie with her 3 kittens.
Oreo – An abandoned domestic rabbit that has been captured and now has a happy, warm home.
Andy is the village tom. The father of a good number of the kittens, he holds his own and struts anywhere he pleases, but has a soft side you wouldn’t expect from his appearance.
Does AJ remind you of anyone? Looks like he’s a little bit Andy.
Flossie, named after the woman that cared for many of our cats by providing food regularly for them, and whose home still provides shelter. I think she would have been a member if she was still with us. We think Flossie is AJ’s mom.
Will – A brave little kitten that would come very close to feed.
Jasper – This gorgeous boy looks a lot like Dr. Hook, without the crooked tail.
Frankie doesn’t show himself much, but looks like he’s been fighting. We’re trying to get him some veterinary care.
Hiding in the shadows.
Sookie, sister of AJ and Nookie, looking not at all pleased to be in her crate for a photo. She and Nookie are being fostered and socialized by one of our caregivers in hopes of finding a forever home.
